The Pilot episode (53 mins running time), currently running on Tubi TV is the projected first episode of a program TV series.

Series Format, Tone

"End of the Line" takes a unique approach to storytelling by featuring an ensemble cast of six main characters. While it deviates from the traditional soap opera format, the series embraces an anthology structure that introduces new guest characters in each episode. These guests, often patients at Sunrise Hospice, along with their loved ones and associates, bring fresh narratives and engage with the regular cast. The show delves into the personal, interpersonal, and spiritual challenges faced by both the guests and the main characters, resulting in compelling storylines that often intertwine. A persistent source of tension revolves around Roy Downs, the hospice director, as he confronts the constant battle of securing City funding for the Clinic amidst the skepticism of city officials regarding the clinic's distinctive mission.

As reflected by our trailer, "End of the Line" is a thought-provoking drama designed to engage the intellect and emotions of both women and men. It presents realistic characters within a contemporary, albeit unconventional, setting. The series delves into conflicts, explores the complexities of love (including self-love and its absence), and examines the loss of faith in human relationships. At its core, the show contemplates the delicate balance between the quality of one's life and the finality of death, which serves as an overarching theme. It fearlessly tackles vexing contemporary issues such as racial discrimination on multiple levels, drug addiction, homosexuality, student disabilities, crime, loss of faith, and the complex interplay between modern medicine and spirituality, particularly within the African American community. While the general tone of the series leans toward somberness, it expertly weaves in light-hearted moments. Ultimately, "End of the Line" invites viewers to reflect upon the human condition.
